North Preston Evangelical Church was formed by a group of like-minded Christians some 20 years ago. From small beginnings meeting in homes and then a local junior school, the church moved to its own purpose built meeting place on Sherwood Way in 1996.

From this new building the church continues to pursue its original aims of helping believers to grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus Christ and to live the Christian life amongst the challenges of the 21st Century while reaching out to the community in which we have been placed with the life- transforming Good News of the Lord Jesus.

The church is associated with the Grace Assembly of Baptist Churches and welcomes anyone who wishes to worship and serve the Lord with them or simply to find out more about the Christian faith.
